LADA REVOLUTION PROJECT

The upgraded LADA REVOLUTION will participate in the NGS LADA-2008

At the start of new season LADA National racing series in 2008 will be modernized version sportprototip LADA Revolution. Major changes have touched the engine and transmission. Instead 8 - sportprototip valve engine in the new version will be equipped with 16 - valve engine (volume 1.6 l). Accordingly capability and improved rates up to 180 horsepower, torque characteristics to 170 Nm at 7000 rpm.

Five box transmission replaced six-CAT (CHUCK with secvential shift mechanism). This allows fully realize the potential of new propulsion unit.
LADA Revolution was founded in 2003 and is the only sportprototip built by Russian specialists on the basis of VAZ units and assemblies. In three years of competition at the pilots had been in the car records trails Nevsk ''Ring'' and ''Myachkovo - Moscow Ring'', reflecting the high-speed performance and reliability sport prototip. National Motocross Series starts LADA overseas routes
